if you give/gave your baby Zantac
did it help with the reflux? My daughter spits up alot, so my Ped prescribed Zantac. Just wondering if it helped your child and were their any side effects?

Yes!! Life saver!! took about 4 days to kick in.. but he is a different baby since the zantac!!

My son has bad reflux. His "main" medication is/was Prevacid - he was just changed to Nexium which is comparable to the Prevacid because they are both proton pump inhibitors. The Zantac is secondary to that - my son had skipped two doses of the Prevacid when we were waiting for the Nexium to come into the pharmacy and I noticed the difference instantly!

DD has prescribed Zantac for Reflux and tried for over a month, it helped a little but not great. After we tried Prevacid and diet elimination, I asked for Axid and it finally did the job.

OMG yes!!! it took like 2-3 days for it to really work but holy crap, she's completely happy now. She was soooo miserable and in pain and now you'd never know she had issues

For us, it was a combination of zantac, rice cereal in the bottle, and switching to a sensitive formula.
