baby movement.. question?

is this something to be of concern? has this happened to anyone else?

Re: baby movement.. question?

You are fine, they don't become REALLY active kicking like crazy for another couple of weeks. I have the same as you, I only feel the baby once in a while.

You are probably even getting kicked during the day, just not paying attention to it if you are busy.

This sounds exactly right. I never felt Chat Icon in the middle of the day around 20 weeks. I guess he became more active around 24 weeks.

Re: baby movement.. question?

At 20w I felt some thumps when I would lay super still in bed. Also it depends on your placenta positioning. My placenta is in the front and at 20w the baby is still small enough to hide behind it a lot. Now at 31w I feel the baby all the time but there I still a section where I don't feel much and that's where the placenta is cushioning.

I started feeling random thumps in my lower stomach last week at 21weeks. I feel them mostly at night when I am reclined.

Re: baby movement.. question?

Totally normal. I would say I didn't feel this baby on a regular basis (like every day, all day) until 24-26 weeks.

totally normal. I have been feeling Chat Icon daily since about 18.5 weeks but thats b/c of a posterior placenta. Even still, it is mostly in the morning or at night, very rarely during the day Chat Icon
