baby movement question

somedays.. well most days.. my dd gets so violent with her movements it actually brings tears to my eyes. i know she needs to move and i enjoy it most of the time.. but sometimes i just want to rock the poor thing to put her to sleep! i cant imagine how she feels in there to be kicking, punching moving so hard! does anyone else have this?

I do...my little man is breech and literally his head is right below my bra line and his feet kick me in the woo-haa... Last night we were at a friends house and I was trying to hold it together while I was there, but as soon as we left I started crying because he must have been pushing off with his feet and his head was right in my ribs. The pain was unbearable. All that I keep thinking is that before we know it, our LO's will be here.

Every once in a while he gives me a kick or elbows me in a way that I actually jump because it hurts so much. I'm sorry if it happens a lot for you!

Yes, my doctor actually checked me for cracked ribs because the kicks were so violent. Ironically they don't do anything even if you do get a cracked rib, which occasionally does happen.

Mine has gotten slightly better in the past few weeks (32+ weeks...). I think he's big enough so that he doesn't have as much room to flail around.

It took a long time for me to actually like the kicks b/c they were so uncomfortable and painful. She's a beast!
