Baby just started arching while feeding - could this be AR?
DD is about 3.5 months, and just recently started arching and fidgeting when taking a bottle, stretching her legs and trying to make herself flat. I had always heard that was a sign of acid reflux. She doesn't cry or stop eating and I know it's not gas, because she does this as soon as the bottle is in her mouth.
Could this be late appearing AR? Or is this normal behavior? She used to be so calm when feeding, so I'm curious what this could be.
She did spit up about half her bottle on two separate occasions last week, but hasn't done anything else out of the ordinary.

My DDwould go through phases where she would do this for a few days, then stop. It was never consistent enough for me to be concerned enough to ask the ped about it.

My DD did this while BFing around 3 months and woul even come off the boob screaming. Then as quickly as it started, it stopped.

Are there any other signs of AF? Is she burping a lot after eating? Meaning like an hour or 2 afterwards? Do you see her gagging after feeding?

this is what I was thinking.
dd has silent reflux (no spitting up) - IMO you would KNOW something is wrong... and she'd prob be screaming during feedings as well, not just fidgeting etc.
dd is 5 months and has been figedty with the bottle like that the last week or so, I switched to level 2 nipple 2 days ago, and she stopped.

Ds is like this with bottles and bfing too. He is just starting to notice the world around him and is too fidgety to sit still and drink up. He also starting waking at 5 am to eat but he seems to be getting better. Hopefully they will grow out of it!

She doesn't burp that much. Occasionally she will a few hours after eating, but not a lot. As for gagging, she usually does once while eating, but never after she finishes.
She does get the hiccups a lot though - could that be a symptom?

Hiccups can be a symptom of silent reflux, as is gagging, which is why I asked.
DS is 2 months old and was just diagnosed with silent reflux. I first noticed when he would gag/choke on nothing. Other times I'd hear him regurgitate, swallow and then cough. He was just put on Zantac yesterday so I'm hoping that helps!

Hmm... I wonder if she has a touch of that, because she does have some of those symptoms. The arching stopped, but she does gag every once in a while as well as cough. I'll have to ask my ped next week. Thanks for the input!
