If you just started feeding your baby cereal
my daughters ped. said she could start oatmeal cereal once a day. Do you give it to your baby in the morning or evening?. Do you give a bottle right afterwards?

when we started cereal, we always gave milk first. this should be the main source of nutrition for the first year.
when we started, we mostly gave it in the evening time, but really i just gave it when i had the time with no strict schedule.

I give her a bottle when she first gets up around 6:30. Then she goes back to sleep until 8:30 or 9. Then I give her cereal, and another bottle around 10.
Anything new I introduce I give her in the morning, so if there's a problem, it happens during the day and I can call the doctor and get a quick response if I have to .
