Baby jewlery

I want to get my niece a braclet or necklace for her 1st birthday and eventually my daughter one too. She's only 8 wks now. Any ideas on where I can get something like that. Which do you think is better?

Depends what you are looking for.

Someone gave dd a great beaded bracelet with her name in silver "blocks" alternating with pink beads. At 17 mos., I put it on her for all dressy occasions. She gets a kick out of it! They got it from etsy.

My parents got dd an ID bracelet in gold, that I will put on her when she is a little older. She can always have extra "chain" added to it when she is a adult. That's what I did with mine. They got it at a small jewelry store in wantagh.

Eventually, when money allows, we want to get dd a charm bracelet, and then charms to commemorate big events. That's such a fun thing for a girl to reflect on as she grows.


In terms of necklaces, adult-sized necklaces are huge on a baby. But baby sized ones are harder to make longer when they are an adult.

my SIL got my DD a gold link bracelet with a cross charm on it from Good Old Gold. My niece has a matching one. Its expandable so she can wear it later also.
