List looks good. Just be mindful of expiration dates on the medication before you stock up too much. I had gotten some at my shower that expired before I ever had to use it. It's recommended that you wait til 6 months before giving Motrin, for example, so I'd wait on that.

You may not want to stock up on some of that. Your dc may have a reaction to some of it...like diapers, wipes, shampoos, lotions, diaper rash stuff.

You may also try a few brands before you find one you like. IMO

The only thing Gripe Water helped with, for DD, was hiccups. It did absolutely nothing for her gas. Little Remedies makes gas drops for gas; they were a G-dsend!

You definitely want a nice sized tube of Aquafor (not the baby kind because it just has added scent).

If you are having a boy, you will also need gauze pads and LOTS of a&d for circumcision healing.

I wouldn't stock up on anything. You might not need 90% of this stuff and you will never know til the time comes. It's all available at any drug store and you can always find a 24 hr one close by.

There is always a 24 hr one near any hospital.

Yes, by stock up--I mean after the baby is here and once you know what they like. Not b4 hand.

Its probably a weird FTM thing, but sometimes I feel like there will be no stores open ever again after the baby comes, lol. I forget that it IS possible to run out to something, lol.

My mom is staying with me for a week, so I am sure she wouldn't mind running out to buy things for the baby! :D

pacifiers

IMO i found boogie wipes and pacifier wipes a waste of money and space in the diaper bag - regular wipes, paper towels with water do the trick

I'm curious what coconut oil is used for?
And cotton balls? Dd is 11 months old and I don't think I ever used cotton balls for her

I lot of people use it for moisturizer or for diaper creme, I think. My friend uses it for diaper rash and says it works great!

We used cotton balls to clean his eyes and face the first month.

This is what I plan on using it for! I use it myself as moisturizer and am addicted to it. My skin has never been better or more soft!

This.

The the things I couldn't have enough of were:
Burp Cloths (the reusable diaper kind are best)
White onesies in newborn, & 0-3 months
Receiving blankets if you plan to swaddle

I never, ever used Gripe water...my pharmacist said it was useless. Mylicon gas drops ARE good to have on hand. Also, a RECTAL thermometer and infant Tylenol just incase.

If BFing, the reusable nursing pads are better than the disposable kind, IMO...they were softer against sensitive nipples. Lansinoh is also good. And a few nursing tanks & bras.

A pack of baby nail files, since you should only file their nails in the beginning.

A nasal aspirator (I think that's what it's called-to suck out snot) is also a must, as well as saline spray for infants. But this isn't something to stock up on, rather just have around incase a cold comes on.
