Yes. Its was tough to read at first since i have a short attention span but it took me a while to realize its divided into chapters for each item u are thinking of getting. It rates each product and vendors. And they give u honest opinions.

I found it to be a lot of information but really worth reading.
I started reading at 9 weeks and broke it up into sections.
I made tabs and a list of best products.
I did not read all areas if I wasn't using the product.
When I went to register at 19 weeks I brought the book with me, along with my notes.

The Baby Bargains book was very helpful. I was too cheap to buy it so I took it out of my library, looked up the things we planned on buying and made a list.

I just got it any my head starting spinning 15 minutes into reading it! Lol. It has a looot of really useful information in it though! I think I just need to take my time and go through it chapter by chapter.

Did you follow what they said? DH and I saw a set we like, 2 sets actually by Sorelle and they gave them a C+ in there and now IDK what to do. The 3rd one I liked he didnt and its got a B in the book but, didnt have the hutch I wanted. Now Im gona drive myself crazy and all the As are out of our price range.

Look at it very carefully. I liked that they rated a lot of cheaper options (Graco Lauren) very high, and pointed out why some of the higher priced options aren't worth it. When they make reccomendations, they take price into it and a too high price is held against a product. We got a Graco crib and an Ikea dresser, both rated high and very affordable. We are not looking at forever furniture either, since I know kids are rough on their furniture, but that dresser is heavier than the one DH and I have.

Regarding the furniture, it was also very helpful to know that brands specific to BRU (like Baby Cache) are the sister brand to Munire. There are a few companies that are called different names depending on the store, but are the same company (same quality). It helps to compare costs between stores.

Baby Cache is the one I like in BRU but, they dont have a hutch But, I'll figure it out. We dont have alot of space either so a hutch, if we have a girl, was a main thing to me.
