ATTN couponing parents!

What is your target price per diaper ?

I am working on stocking up on diapers but I don't want to "fall" for any deals that aren't GREAT since I am buying ahead of time (for now).

I will try any brand (smaller packs preferred). Probably going to shop CVS, Target, S&S. any other suggestions ? (I do not like Rite Aid or Walgreens cards/sales as they get a little confusing-- Shop Rite is a little far for me but may be worth it).

TIA!

I LOVE Target diapers!! It's all I use and they are so cheap. They even have overnights now. Between their sales, the Cartwheel app, and the Red Card you can save so much money on them. WAY cheaper than any brand name and they work great!

Re: ATTN couponing parents!

I try to hit between $.15-.$18 per diaper. Sometimes I've gotten them for $.13. This is for pampers.

Diapers.com is good for the first. 3 months bc they give you 20% off.

Toys r us is good when they have the $25 gift card promos or the $8 or $10 off coupons which you can combine with manufacturer coupons.

Buying small packs is the most expensive way to buy diapers. Although I have lucked out if CVS has a sale and they give you extra care rewards and use manufacturer coupons.

Just be careful with stocking up ... some diaper brands just won't fit properly on your DS.

That said, we currently use Target brand and love it (they're usually $25 for the biggest pack) or Luvs ($30 for their biggest pack). I've seen some coupons out there at times for a few bucks off but never really remember to use them.

Check out livingrichwithcoupons.com. She has a weekly deal roundup for certain products including diapers and will sum up the best deals of the week. A good price per diaper will depend on the brand and size.

The first few months I hunted sales and coupons for huggies and pampers and would have my phone out calculating and comparing prices and it was miserable. Once I switched to luvs life was so much easier. A box usually went on sale for 16.99 and if I had a coupon even better but if not it's still a good deal. I could get that price regularly at target or shoprite plus shoprite gives baby bucks ($10 every few months if you spend 100 on baby stuff) and target does the gift card offers every so often. Now that I joined bjs they have a good price too.

We have always had the best prices buying Pampers at BJs with a manufacturing coupon AND a BJs store coupon. The price/diaper is already good (not sure what bc DH is the one who does the math, lol!) but then when you add the coupons it's amazing! And then we have diapers for awhile bc there are so many in the box.

I wouldn't stock up on a bunch of store brand diapers until you find a brand that you know you like. Target brand is very good, but not sure about the other brands.

I have to be honest, I've been using the wal mart diapers (parents choice brand) they are a little cheaper than target brand and they work just fine. DD is in size 4 and a package of 80 diapers is around $13 where huggies/pampers are around $28

When are you due? Babies R Us always has $10 boxes around Thanksgiving/Black Friday. It's their own brand and they are not bad. Definitely keep that in mind if you are looking to stock up.

I always loved target diapers.

I always found cvs to be the most expensive place for all things baby. Target is the cheapest, IMO,

Costco especially when they have the $5 off. I got the babies r us diapers last year on Black Friday and they were horrible I had to throw them out every single one he leaked out of. That's why you really can't stock up you never know which ones won't work for you.

Thanks! I am on that site but couldn't find a good price per diaper/ average cost in case I found deals elsewhere.

Shoprite baby bucks sounds good but since they are a franchise and the Patchogue one is really bad at honoring coupons... I have to see if it's worth the drive to selden.

Thanks! Feb 17. I am hoping to go Black Friday shopping this year but a little worried about how I will feel.

ATTN couponing parents!

Thanks everyone! I will have to check return policies and save receipts just in case, too :)

Unfortunately, I am not a BJs or Costco member but my Sam's club is up soon so maybe I will switch to BJs since they accept coupons !

This is what we used with subscribe and save. We used Huggies snug& dry and Huggies overnite. Amazon was the cheapest.

I actually go to the shoprite in Patchogue and don't usually have an issue. I've learned to avoid certain cashiers and check my receipt. I think they were more strict when they first opened. The customer service people are good if something doesn't go through right.

This.

And you don't know how long your LO will be in each size. And some brands may irritate your LOs skin,

I started the Target brand with DS 1 once he was in size 3 and with DS 2 from the beginning and haven't had any issues.

Good to know, thanks! my sister had some issues with internet printed coupons and stacking in the beginning as well. But it is the same owners as Hauppauge (I think?) and they are stricter there too than Commack, etc.

Was figuring I'd go by BRU estimates. Are they accurate usually?

ATTN couponing parents!

Ending today, King Kullen has LUVS for $9/box which works out to about 10 cents per diaper.

If you have a $1 off coupon they double it, and its then about 8 cents a diaper.
