Attention fondue lovers!
For our anniversary yesterday we went to the Melting Pot in CT (we were in Mystic for the weekend). The owner was there and asked where we were from. When we mentioned Long Island he told us they recently decided to open one on Route 110 where Green Fields used to be. He expects it to open in May.
I've been there twice and its incredible! If you like fondue definetly consider checking it out when it opens!!

its a fondue restaurant chain  soo yummy! you go there and get fondue dinner- they give you cheese fondue appetizer with veggie and stuff to dip, THEN a main course with flavored oil fondue to cook shimp, beef, chicken, etc in... and lots of cool dipping sauces. THEN, you get chocolate fondue dessert! expensive, but sooo yummy!!

i was wondering what was going on with greenfields- i had wanted to try it, but just noticed the other night that it looked like it was closed down.

I may be the only one, but I skeeve fondue restaurants for some reason. But I am glad Greenfields is closed, that place was gross. lol

I skeeve the meat fondue.  I'm all over anything cheesey and chocolatey, though.
DH will be SO excited MP is coming to LI! And close to us, too!!

I MAKE FONDUE ALL THE TIME AT HOME!!! I DO OIL FONDUE WITH MEAT AND DIPPING SAUCES!!!
