At the Level 2...Is it internal or external??
Is that the same as Anatomy Scan?
Also, do they give you pics to take home?
I'm a little nervous and excited for it, I would love to hear your experience.

It's external and yes they gave me pictures. I got pics from every sonogram. It is very exciting - enjoy it!

my level II was the best... we found out the sex but the baby didn't cooperate with the heart measurments so we got to have a second one.
the techs at my dr's office are just amazing - at the second one, we were there for over 20 minutes (despite just needing pics of the heart) because the tech said she was "just playing around" and having fun looking at the baby! 
we got tons of pics at both!
ETA: it's an external sono

Mine was very quick, since the baby was cooperative. I think it was 15 to 20 minutes. It's amazing how much bigger the baby is from 12 weeks to 20 weeks.

My Level II started out as external, but the technician and doctor couldn't get a good picture of the heart chambers or my cervix so I ended up having an internal as well.
I was actually fine with that because I got to spend an extra 20 minutes or so looking at

Yes we got pictures. Mine was external this time.
With DS it was external and internal b/c they couldnt get all the shoots they needed externally.

Mine have all been external, and I've always gotten around 10 pictures each time. I have been lucky to get great sono techs with all of my pregnancies.

Mine was external for the most part because DD was cooperating.. that is until she fell asleep. They couldn't get their last measurement so they had to go internal. They do send you home with some pics. I think it only took about 20-30 min.
