At the end of my rope

So I am almost 35 weeks. I haven't slept in 4 days. I have awful Braxton Hicks that come and go, and pelvic girdle pain that is killing me. I can't put any pressure on one of my legs. I've had a pounding migraine for 48 hours. I am beyond irritable. Baby is already over 6 pounds and I am way uncomfortable. I feel like I am going to strangle someone. I am straight-up MISERABLE. Can someone pleeeeease tell me it gets better!??!

My idiot family says "Well, you wanted to be pregnant, deal with it" and my adorable husband is sympathetic but theres nothing he can do. My friends are trying but none of them have ever been pregnant and I don't think they get it.

(Oh yeah, and I am a bridesmaid in a wedding a week from tomorrow- and we're going to have multiple houseguests during that period.)

Why do I feel so ****** off and cranky??? Anyone?

Feel better You should consider going to a chiropractor, you'll be more comfortable.

I feel like I am going to sound JUST like you when I'm at that point (minus the wedding and houseguests)

but yeah I would be cranky too with BH, a migrained, the pelvic issues, etc...I think you are entitled to be cranky right now...

and just keep remembering WHY all of that is happening, and the wonderful LO that will be here to say "Hey Mommy, that was MEEEE making you cranky!!! But don't you justlove me sooo much????" (and by here to "say" that I basically mean the first time you look at LO, I'm sure you willl forget it all!)

I can relate to ALOT of you described, I am a few weeks behind you at 31 but the fun has CEASED.

I would say for you to carve out an hour or two and go for a prenatal massage or even a pedicure. You need momma time! Have some ice cream and feel good about yourself.

Carve out a little time, it will do a world of difference. I agree with the PP who mentioned thinking about the baby. LO will be here VERY soon and you will forget all of the difficult moments and feel a love like you've NEVER imagined

Wishing your family was a little more sympathetic.

I do remember the last month being quite uncomfortable. Just keep your eye on the prize. You're almost there!!!

I can not believe your family is not more supportive! I'm sorry, it's so hard to be uncomfortable and miserable and not having some sympathy and help! you're almost there

ugh. I totally feel your pain at the end of my pregnancy I was a total mess. I never had a backache in my life till i was pregnant and towards the end I was in so much pain i used to sit and just cry. Hang in there its almost over and baby will be here.

You have no idea how much better you made me feel. I appreciate your kind words. Its good to know that other people can understand where I am coming from. My mom/ fam, they've never been warm & fuzzy people- and I understand that its probably tough for non-prego's (friends and such) to identify with what am going through. (Seriously, that vent made me feel a lot better lol.)

You're all absolutely right- I just need to keep my eye on the prize and hang in there. And maybe get a massage! =) I am sure once I see his beautiful little face, I will forget about all this nonsense and fall in love.

the end is really tough, hang in there! with my first I was so miserable at the end, sciatica, couldn't sleep, heartburn, nausea....And you do forgot as soon as they arrive! Good news, i was the complete opposite with my 2nd - at the end I felt great and actually felt like I could have lasted even longer!

Awe I can only imagine. First time mom here 25 weeks. In 10 more weeks I am sure I am you. If you have not experienced headaches this entire pregnancy or if its worse migraine than usual make sure your dr knows. Hopefully your house-guests take care of everything for you when they are visiting.

I can sympathize with the pelvic pain- I've had it since about 15 weeks this time. no braxton hicks yet- but the heartburn is starting at 33.5 wks.

Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs to ease some of the pelvic pressure and sit on one of those big exercize balls while you watch TV.

I'm sorry to say, it doesn't get better from here on out. You're so close...yet so far.

Just try to rest and relax as much as possible.

And a wedding at 36 weeks?!?! Are you NUTS?!?! ROFL....you'll look cute as a BM though!

I'm sorry you are going through so much.
I hope things ease up for you.
Try to relax and remain calm. That's what I keep telling myself but, it only works for alittle bit and then my idiot family stresses me out again.
