At a complete loss for words right now..UPDATE WITH CALL FROM DR'S OFFICE
I cheated on Wednesday and took an hpt..positive!!
I was on a peeing frenzy over the last few days and took at lesat two tests a day, some with fmu, some without and all positive. On Saturday I broke down and took a digital...yep, you guessed it, positive.
This morning I just needed to see that "pregnant" on the screen to know for sure before my beta and it said "not pregnant".
I woke up with the dry heeves and feeling very sick, so I just knew that test would be positive, but now I just don't understand what happend? I'm not bleeding, just feeling slightly crampy.
I not only told DH, I video taped my telling him (on xmas day, no less) and now I have to take it back.
UPDATE:
I just got the message: Beta 8.5
Progesterone 19.
They want me to repeat the test in the am.
Somebody tell me I have half a chance here.
I'm asking for prayers like never before.

First of all...it could have been a bad test.
Secondly, why not wait for your beta and see what really is?
BTW, I learned like you not to keep testing like that. I truly hope this is not your situation, but I had it happen and we told our entire families....it was so upsetting to find out it was a chemical.

Awwwww....I'm sorry. It's possible that today's test was wrong. Don't give up hope yet!!!

This exact thing happened to me- right Gerty? I took a digital a few days after my BFP and it said not pregnant. I had been poasing for days and they were getting darker. I used the last digital in the pack and it said pg. Oh I opened both tests and the not pg one did not have a control line or a test line whereas the positive had two very dark blue lines. So there are definitely bad tests out there. I would probably do another test but I am obsessive like that.  But you do have the beta today and that will give you a definite answer.

I'm hoping this is the case, but in my heart I feel that this is, or was a chemical pregnancy.

Ok so technically you ARE pregnant...and I do think there is a chance the beta #s and prog. can continue to rise.....sending many many prayers and rising vibes your way
