I have been Lurked upon before.. More then once actually!! On LIW so its nothing new to me.
I am more careful but not really. If I want to post something I do... if they read it... good for them b/c I'm not saying anything un true.

I reveal a lot of myself here, but I do keep a lot of things private as well...
I don't really feel I need to "edit" what I say, I pretty much have nothing to hide..
and honestly if there is something I said on here that I needed to vent out, and someone 'lurked' and saw it.. well so be it.
I STILL think that being able to VENT here is something that NONE of us should have to feel sorry or badly about !!

I don't really post anything too personal, so I am not worried. I know my SIL used to be on LIW when she was planning her wedding, but we really weren't active at the same time. Anyway I don't think she posts and if she here and if she did I have nothing to hide.

I share more personal info through FM's with close friends but I will not censor myself if there is something I want to say.
As others of you were saying, if someone wants to track me down on here and then get mad at me for things I've said - that's their problem. I'm not saying anything untrue and it's probably a lot healthier that I'm venting on here instead of blowing up at my in-laws or something like that!!

My ILs all know I post here, and to my knowledge none of them have ever come here. I think I will be more careful about MIL vents, and save them for my close friends, over FM or IM. There's always a chance that someone who knows your family is on here without you realizing it.

Same here. I had a few stalkers on LIW.. and I never said anything bad about anyone. They just like to read about me I guess At first I was upset and changed my name, but now I just don't care anymore.

i dont really vent about the ILs or share too much info about people other than me, But if i i need to vent, and say negative things, Its something the other person would already be aware of anyway (im not one to bite my tongue when someone close to me pi$$es me off  )

I have always watched the amount of detail I go into about other people. I have talked about LIW enough that family members know it exists and my pic is plastered all over so you can figure out who I am.
