are cramps & spotting normal
in the first trimester? they're worse than my normal cramps, but maybe on a par with the more uncomfortable cramps i get on the first day of AF. i just found out yesterday via HPT, and the calendar i looked at says i'm in week 5. i'm worried  trying to get in to see a dr.

I never had spotting, but I had really strong period like cramps (worse then when I had my actual period) until around 10 weeks or so, everything was fine. I would just call your doc to try and get an appointment to ease your worries.

both can be normal symptoms but i would call the doc and let them know you are spotting just to be safe.
Try not to stress that never helps.
