Appt with Doc before TTC
Hi!
Did anyone make an appt with their doctor before TTC....I have been off the pill over a month now...

It worked out that I was on my 6 month appt. I don't think it truly matters, but if you have questions then it couldn't hurt to go.

I had an appt. w/ my gyn (+ did the genetic screening thing) and a checkup with my family doc (particularly for thyroid levels).
I had heard that it was a good idea and figured it couldn't hurt. But, to each his/her own!

i had a preconception appt with my doc...i found it to be a great idea...she did a bunch of testing and i started on pre-nats

Yes, we did, but we did it more because I have autoimmune issues and we are both Ashkenazi Jews, so we needed to discuss the whole genetic aspect.
