Appt for flu shots tom. and still undecided VENT

I know you are all sick of hearing this...

I made an appt. today to get preservative free flu shots tomorrow morning after some people in my fam have come down with the swine.

I made the appt. this morning and have been RELENTLESSLY researching/reading ever since.

I am STILL on the stupid fence.

I asked some people whose opinions I respect and they are so divided.

I guess this is just the first of many tough decisions I will have to make as a parent!

I would prob be less nervous if I had gotten a flu shot in the past- but no, this will be my first if I do decide to go. Right now I am leaning towards getting it only bc it is preservative free and because I am due march 3rd which leaves me in the highest risk category of winter months 3rd tri.

ARGH. Maybe I should just lock myself in my house instead??!!

I feel the same exact way. I have an appointment for the H1N1 vaccine on wednesday and am still up in the air with whether or not to go for it. I guess we just have to go with our gut feeling and trust that everything will be ok

I know, it is such a hard decision because I think either way you will constantly ask yourself if you made the right decision.

I can tell you that I got my seasonal flu shot about 3 weeks ago (as did DS and DH). And I got my H1N1 shot about 2 weeks ago. DS got his last week and DH went and got his tonight.

I am very comfortable and happy with our decision. Good luck making yours!
