Apple Picking at Lewin's Farm..picture overload
Such a great time. The apples were huge and although there were a good number of cars we were able to walk down our own row and forget people were there. Sorry for so many pictures.

Looks like fun - and Lucas is getting so big!
Is there anything else around there to do? This is something Jack would love! I'd love to get it in before the baby is born. How far is it from us?

It was a bit of a drive from where we both are...it's exit 68 off the LIE and then you take William Floyd Pkwy...I'd say it's about as much time as it takes to get to the outlets in Riverhead...so we went after breakfast and spent enough time to run around, pick apples and fill our bag. Then we had lunch and headed home. There are a bunch of different areas to pick your own items (mostly from Lewin's) but otherwise I'd suggest making it a short trip...or continue back on the LIE and go to the outlets 
Seriously Diana...it was a lot of fun and we were so happy we went today! And the trees are the perfect height for the kiddies!

Excellent...so big...so yummy! We actually washed one off to eat in the field it was so tempting...since we wound up paying $12 for all of our apples the woman laughed when we told her we ate one.

I know...he goes on the big boy scale at the doctor  You'd never guess he came from Italian stock...he's almost taller than his grandparents
We are going out there for pumpkin picking next month...I'll be sure to get in touch with you and Marcie!!!!
