DD was 19lbs, 8 oz at her one year visit (one week after she turned 1). She JUST tripled her birth weight but the ped never said anything about needing to triple at 1 year. Now that she's off Elecare (which she hated) and on to whole milk, she's finally chunking up a bit!! She's been a skiiny minnie since Day 1 though. Some babies are just smaller than others. I really think we see so many big babies these days, we forget what "normal" really is. I am older and babies were more DD's size back when I was her age.
