anyone's gums swollen and bleeding more in thr 3rd tri?
My gums behind my top teeth are a little swollen for the past week or so and they bleed more, but only when I brush my teeth. I was suppsoed to go to the dentist 2 weeks ago but had to cancell because I was put on bed rest. Has anyone else experienced this in the 3rd trimester? TIA!

I actually noticed this morning that my top gums were bleeding more and I was waking up with some blood in my mouth now. I'm 31 1/2 weeks. But it definitely wasn't like that before!

Thanks ladies. I'm so mad I didn't go to the dentist before I was put on bed rest but who knew. I guess its pretty common. I wake up with blood in my mouth too but I think its from my lips. They are so chapped especially on the inside. During the day I live on blistex. I put it on before bed but it still gets so bad at night.
