It looks like this may have been a small apt for a relative or maid, perhaps? The rest of the house looks fairly normal if not to my tastes.

this room looks like it was a luxury suite for old people. maybe visitors were given this room so that it was like their own apartment? i still think the whole toilet/bathroom part there is weird and overall its ugly. i looked at all the pictures. nothing bad really. just a very old fashioned, bad taste in style/design kind of house. It's very small and not new/updated to be going for so much money. It must be location and star factor that qualifies it being so much money.

There is a screen there--I think it is just open to show that there is a bathroom. Which probably wasn't the best idea.
It is a small house --but I am pretty sure that's not her main residence.

if you're going to convert space to a guest suite, why wouldn't you put in the effort to put a real wall to divide the restroom instead of that screen.
let's face it, poop smells. why would you leave the rest of the room open to that.
i'm extremely private about bathroom matters. i would not want to spend any time in a suite like this... jmho lol

Yeah I don't see it either and this house is in LA. Doesn't Dolly live in Tennessee. I did read it said it was Natalie woods childhood home.
