Anyone taking prenatals? if so, which kind?
i have to go to an RE for PGD and IVF - after my first consultation, my Dr. told me to take CitraNatal Assure - anyone ever heard of these? do they make you sick?

I haven't heard of that kind, sorry. I am taking Nature Made, but switching to Rainbow Light when this bottle runs out.
ETA: Maybe try taking them right before you go to sleep...then maybe they won't make you sick

have your prenatals been making you sick? i have heard from some people they make you nauseous

Rainbow light. I'm hoping that since I'm starting before we get pregnant, that I will be able to continue taking them the entire pregnancy. I was only able to keep down the gummy flinstones with DS.

I took Citranatal with DD (don't remember the word Assure in there though). Right now I'm using a brand from Vitamin Shoppe that I like along with an Omega 369. I didn't have problems with Citranatal but didn't like Duet. You could take it right before bed.

I am taking the same ones I took with DS; Rainbow Light
I read an article recently that said besides folic acid, to make sure that there is 150 mg or mcg; dont remember of Iodine
Rainbow Light was recommended by my OB and I never had any reaction to them; though they are kind of large

I have been talking GNC prenatals w/iron..I take them before going to bed..Haven't noticed much besides my hairs grows like a weed.

I had a one week sample of this from my Dr. I had slight nausea so I started taking them before bed and it was fine. I did notice that my urine color is a little darker. Not sure if this had anything to do with the prenatal.

I've never heard of those. I am taking Target brand prenatals right now, and I also took Target brand during 2 of my pregnancies. They never made me sick, the ingredients are practically the same as brand name ones and they are pretty inexpensive.

I am taking Gesticare DHA (prescription) and I am IN LOVE with them. I am a little annoyed because when I filled the script they were $70 for a 3 month supply, which I thought was NUTS!!!! I feel like I need to find a more cost efficient option since I will be on them for a while but I just LOVE them so much! No side effects AT ALL and the Omega is derived from a plant source so I don't get that fishy taste!!!

I take the rainbow light prenatals from Target. I also am taking a prenatal DHA supplement from Nordic Naturals. I usually take them at night before bed.
