Anyone stay at the Bay Towers in the Contemporary at Disney
We booked a one bedroom villa there. I am curious whether anyone has stayed there.

yes!!! It's my new favorite!!!!!
The one bedroom is fantastic! Two full baths - one off the kitchen/living room and one with an amazin shower in the bedroom.
They are very strict about only allowing guests staying at Bay Lake to use the pool (although you can use the Contemporary's pools if you desire). Transportation was a dream.

What do you mean about the pool? Aren't I considered a guest so wouldn't I be able to use the pool? Also, did the room have daily housekeeping?

Bay Lake Tower has it's own pool. Most Disney pools allow pool hopping, meaning you can use any pool at any Disney hotel. For example, you can use the pool at the Poly if you're staying at the Grand Floridian.
Bay Lake Tower does not allow this. You can only use the BLT pool if you are a guest. You need to bring your room key to enter the gate at the pool. Also, you need your room key to access the walkway bridge from the main level of the contemporary.
You can use the regular Contempory pool if you wish.
As far as housekeeping goes, if you are staying on DVC points, you do not have daily housekeeping. If you are staying on a cash reservation, you do.

Beach/Yacht Club and the Bay Lake Tower pool. But guests of one resort can not just go to a pool at another resort unless there's a closure due to refurbishment.

You're right - my bad. I am used to the DVC version of pool hopping. It's been a long time since I've stayed on a cash reservation. I apologize.

I am still confused. Do you walk to MK or take the monorail? How long is the walk?

The contemporary is the closest to MK. Probably a 5+ minute walk. You can still go on the monorail but you will need to stop at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian to go to MK. It's a loop. Now from MK, you will be the 1st stop on the monorail.
