Anyone stay at these Disney Resorts?
We are planning a 3 day Disney Cruise and 4 days on land....we have the choice in the package to stay at the following hotels...
Polynesian
Beach Club
Dolphin or Swan
I don't know which to choose! Any suggestions??

Never stayed at any of them, but if it was up to me, I would choose the Polynesian.
It just looks like a fun place!

Never stayed at any of those but we went to Disney for our HM ...I would pick the Polynesian out of those 3...its beautiful and is on the monorail line

I have stayed at the beach club and the swan. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the beach club. It is in an amazing location. I have stayed at the swan twice. It is also in a great location, but has less of a disney feel inside the hotel.

I agree!!!
we Always eat dinner at least one night at Ohana... and keep saying that one time we're going to actaully stay at the Polynesian. we LOVE it there!!

I would pick the Beach Club also - it's close to Epcot & MGM, the Boardwalk and has lots of dining choices.

My parents have stayed at the Beach Club about 4 times and each time they LOVE IT!! I've stayed at the Boardwalk (DH and I are going back in March) and we walk over to the Beach Club to their Ice Cream Shop "Beaches and Cream". Its really nice. Plus, its in walking distance to EPCOT so you can see the Illuminations show in the showcase and take your time to walk back (and you dont have to worry about waiting on line for the bus to take you back to the hotel). I say go with the Beach Club!

I stayed at the Dolphin - it was about 4 years ago so from what I can remember - it wasn't the nicest of hotels, but still ok - kind of outdated carpets - you know, the loud aqua blue colors, etc. BUT it was in walking distance to a bunch of stores and restaurants and you could take the boat right over to the parks. I think the shuttle went to Paradise Island too.
Oops just saw MrsKelly's post so maybe I am a little off since that was years ago.

The Dolphin was great! We stayed for a convention and took the bus everywhere. The food there was wonderful, Blue Zoo and the cute milk shake place.

I've stayed at the beach club and really enjoyed it. The pool was great and I loved how close it was toe epcot (and all the yummy food!)

I would highly recommend the Polynesian. Its one of only three hotels that are in the magic kingdom area. They are connected by the monorail and therefore easy to get around. Like the other girls mentioned Ohana's is also located at the Polynesian. The restaurant has amazing food. They also have a hawaiin dinner show that is pretty good too.
