anyone on bed rest??
thought it may be fun to start an official bed rest thread, but wasnt sure how many there are on bed rest
im almost 32w & on bed rest until 34 or 36w

I'm 24 weeks with twins and on bedrest untilI deliver (or hopefully 36 weeks!)

I was on bed rest so I could sympathize!!! And people telling me to "rest now before the baby comes" made me want to throw things at them.

I was on bed rest so I could sympathize!!! And people telling me to "rest now before the baby comes" made me want to throw things at them.
i made a post on facebook of things not to say to a pregnant woman on bed rest & that was one of them!!!! along with, "just treat it like a vacation" riight bc everyone just spends an entire vacation in bed only getting up to pee and shower

I was on bed rest for 5 weeks in my first pregnancy... this pregnancy i'm like one step away...cerlage, shots of progesterone, and told to basically not do anything 
i'm 25 weeks...still got a ways to go...
hope you ladies are keeping busy 
at least its crummy winter and not much going on

Just a few tips from when I was shacked up in bed  
FaceTime with people when you can! It helps ease some of the monotony and loneliness!
Online shopping............
Ask friends to come visit. I waited for people to offer to come figuring they obviously knew I was on bed rest and would visit if they wanted to, but that's silly and I wish I had been more open and said, "COME ON OVER!!!"
I used to get so frustrated bc laying in bed honestly sounds great- until you can't get up and you're stuck in mind jail just hoping your baby will be ok from sono to sono. I always found it way more draining emotionally than physically.

i sympathize with all of you guys. i was on bedrest from weeks 17-36 weeks, honestly i would make a routine, watch trashy tv, read alot of books, shop online, facetime, whatever you can do to keep yourself occupied.  hang in there.
