I wasn't going to because one, he had a party at daycare and two, we were told trick or treating in our town was cancelled but, we got a record number. He started by handing the candy out to the kids and then grabbed my hand and started walking to our neighbors doors. It was cute.

so we went and it was great actually.

in the Clinton Hill section of BK which is not far from my house, they REALLY do it up!!!

we walked over there and the street was closed off for one block and it was like a street fair..some of the houses were totally decked out and there was a house that had a huge puppet show! Luce was really into it (which is awesome b/c we are talking him to the Opera for Christmas lol)

he went to a few houses to trick or treat but it was just soo packed and he doesn't even really eat the candy so we just walked around a little more and headed home. though on the next block there was another puppet show, but it was Monster Wars or something Godzilla was getting the smack down...Luce was fine with it until someone hit Godzilla with a chair my little non violent boy cried so we left after that.

but I am really glad we went out. he loved seeing all of the "niños" and walking around with his cousins. I would definitely go back to this same area next year but earlier. it was just too packed.

anyway, thanks for the encouragement. it was so worth it!!!
