anyone know a piano teacher?
so i'm finally getting myself lessons, now i just need a teacher!
i'm going to check craigs list and the yellow pages, but does anyone know a piano teacher (lynbrook area) or even how much they cost?
i'm so excited to start this!! i've been waiting all my life to learn!

I don't know if my old piano teacher still teaches 
But I do have a friend that gives lessons... I will find oout of she goes to Lynbrook.
Did you get a piano? I am looking for one now. My mom is keeping the piano I played as a child.

ME!
I'm actually going to start giving lessons out of my house when I get my piano moved from my mom's house to mine.
Edited to add: I have played piano for about 20 years, took lessons for 10 years and took music classes at Nassau.

i inhereted my grandma's piano when my grandpa died last december. now that i have my own, i'm DYING to learn. since i'm an adult, i need to find someone who can teach an adult but don't have anyone to get references from!
let me know!!

Good for you Stef! My friend who gives lessons has similar experience as you. She does great ($$ wise).
