Anyone have those magnetic letters?
I'd like to get those old school plastic magnetic letters for the radiator cover (not hot) in DS's nursery. I've found a bunch online but would rather pick them up in person. Anyone buy them locally? I've been checking in what I think are appropriate stores and have yet to find them.

I looked in CI Target... two times I was there and did not find them! Granted the second time there was a good chance I was in early stages of labor!!!  
Which Target did you see them? I'd really like to get a reputable brand like Playskool than a $1 store variety.

These are the ones I have been looking for! I have tried Target, Walmart and TRU. Finally, I called Playskool/Hasbro this morning and they told me they stopped making these two years ago. 
Did you get yours recently?

Probably 6 months ago. She kept throwing them in the garbage though  So now I have Melissa & Doug wooden ones.
Oh...and I wanted to add, the Playskool ones weren't that great. For some reason they didn't stick well to my fridge and dishwasher. I have no problem with the M&D ones.

Walked up and down the toy aisles in K-mart in Bohemia three times. No magnet letters.
I think I may order them online I guess. I've heard about the plastic ones not having strong magnets and I did see the wood M&D ones however I believe they were only one letter each so you'd have to buy multiple sets to make words with double letters. I did find online a nice set that had extra letters for spelling and came with upper and lower case letters. I'll have to find those again!
I'll still check Waldbaums tomorrow but chances are, I'll order them online.

i just got some as a gift they are by parents and its called the magenitic school. or somethign like that. they come in a school house and inside are all of the letters and with cards where you can fit the magnet in ( by placing them not magnetically) then they also magnetically stick to all appropriate surfaces.
