Anyone have a Subaru Forester? *update*
How do you like it?
It's on the short list of cars that DH and I are considering buying when my lease is up.
Also in the running is the VW Tiguan and the Saturn Vue... opinions on any of them are welcome as well!

I test drove it 2 weeks ago and wasnt crazy about how it handled or how I felt in it.
My friend with a 1 yr old has it and loves it- it has a great safety reputation.

not a forrester, but DH has a subaru impreza WRX, and has been REALLY happy with it. it has over 100,000 miles on it and still runs great ( knock on wood!). hes a mechanical engineer, and he really likes how subarus are built and how reliable they are. a couple of his friends who are also engineers have them, too and are really happy...

We are planning to buy the Saturn Vue early next year. We test-drove it and absolutely loved it! I also have a friend who has one and she swears by it!

LOVE IT! My Dh family all drive Subarus. My only complaint is that ours doesn't fit 3 britax carseats in the back. We have a 2003 but I know the redesigned one is wider!

Same! I love how it handles and alsways feel very safw while driving in bad weather.
I just got the new model and it's so much roomier and a much quiter ride.
I love it!
Don't know where you are, but Vinny at Metric Subaru in Huntington was the nicest car salesperson ever! I have been 100% satisfied with that dealership.

I've got a Subaru Forester and LOVE it. Ours is a very rare model only sold in Japan but I'd recommend the Forester any day. Get a turbo model if you can, it drives sooo nicely.

We went to look at the Forester this afternoon and fell in LOVE with it!  
The price per month wasn't bad at all - only about $30 more than I'm paying for my 05 Jetta for a very nicely equipped 09. We are going to test drive it tomorrow (they were short-staffed and couldn't do a test with us)
If I like the way it drives, we just might do it!
I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought a used subaru outback a few years ago and absolutely LOVE the car. Subaru's are really well made, have the best safety ratings on the road, drive phenomenally well, particularly in bad weather, and require very little maintenance. It's probably the best car I've ever had.

My family has a Forester and they love it! My family used to always get Saturns, now they like the Forester. I've had VWs and I like them, but they have their share of problems.

I looked at the Forrester recently but got a new Legacy SE instead- so far, love it! The redesigned Forresters look much better! I've been a VW fan for YEARS but just turned in my lease 2 months early and they didn't really have any good deals so I went next door and ended up with the Legacy.
