Anyone get pregnant easily?

HI! My husband and I would like to start trying for a family in a few months, after we have moved into our new house.

I have been reading some posts in the TTC forum, and I am getting really nervous.

I'm just curious if there is anyone out there who decided to get pregnant, and didn't chart, take temps, or scheduling DTD? In other words, just went with nature to "see what happened"? I'm really looking for success stories, but any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I got pregnant our first month "trying" aka just not protecting... I knew around the time I would ovulate (because Im very regular) so we just BDed before, during, and after ovulation... Not sure which of those 3x actually worked, but we know at least 1 did

I too thought it may take a while just because you tend to hear more of the negative than positive on here... I was actually afraid to post my BFP bc I know girls on there have been trying for yrs and here I was... 1 month later

DH and I decided in September to "just see what happens" and I found out I was pregnant on October 11th. I was pretty surprised it happened so quickly for us - I feel very lucky! Good luck to you!!!!

We were so fortunate. We technically weren't trying, but it was our first full month of being "careless". I stopped BC in the middle of August and we conceived in the last week of September--- we are having a honeymoon baby lol.

DH and I got pregnant the first time we weren't careful. I wasn't charting or anything like that either

I didn't chart, temp, or schedule special times. I got pregnant in 6 months.

First time around i got pregnant on my honeymoon, no charting, no nothing..i knew NOTHING about TTC.

Second time it took 3 months, but that ended in a m/c. Third time it also took 3 months.

DH & I got preggo our 1st month trying, which was March. Unfortunately, it ended in a MC @ 6.5 wks. I decided to take 2 months off after that and we fully started trying again in July. I just used ovulation predictor tests to confirm my o time and we were preggo by Nov.

We got pregnant after not being careful at all. I had an idea of when I ovulate, and we just happened to around that time. We weren't trying, and weren't preventing.

For both of my pregnancies we didn't even try it wasn't even a thought on our mind. I am now due with my second little one July 2. Best of luck to you

We did not have any issues and much like you, after reading the struggles on TTC I was worried. We said we would start trying (which for us just meant unprotected) in September so I went off my BC like 4 months earlier to get it out of my system. We ended up getting PG in Aug which we were not "trying" for, didn't chart or track anything. IMO, it's so cool to start off not charting or tracking anything, just go for it. So many people get caught up on the fact that they tracked so perfectly and when it doesn't happen it is disappointing. Just have fun for a few months and if it doesn't happen, then if you want, start to track.

#1 I stopped taking my BCP on July 5th...found out i was pregnant on August 2nd

#2 Stopped BCP on December 13th, found out I was pregnant on January 10th.

I just tracked my period on an app and read what to expect when you're expecting. I didnt temp or do anything fancy. It took a while for us to get pregnant but once we knew the signs of ovulation voila we got preggos.

DS#1 was a surprise, first month off of BC pills because my insurance stopped covering the brand I needed so I ran out and oops, we weren't careful enough.

DS#2 was planned. We decided to start trying at the end of June. I went on a website to track when I ovulate by putting in my last period, they told me the best days to and we got pregnant the first try.

I did NOT get pregnant easily at all (actually, needed IVF), but I still advocate for starting to try the old-fashioned way, just by having unprotected sex. Try it for a few months. It will be much more fun than starting with stressful temping, charting and OPKs right off the bat. Plenty of people get pregnant that way.

My sister and I always say that if you aren't preventing, you ARE trying.

We did not get pregnant easily but did not need fertility assistance (almost just started!)

I would say just wing it, we did that in the beginning and it is just fun and carefree!

first three times we got it on the first month without doing that stuff.... but only the third kept.

The second one now took 2 months.

We didn't get pregnant right away, but it didn't take too long. I went of BCPs in August, and got pregnant in January, so we had about 4 months of getting negative pregnancy tests, and I was getting frustrated and just about to start seeing a specialist to see if anything was up with me and that was the month we got our BFP!

ETA: I forgot to say that I had been temping but the month I got pregnant, my temps had been kind of wacky so I can't give temping any credit. According to my chart, I thought I had already ovulated because my temps were higher for several days, so DH and I stopped scheduling But we did about a week after I had thought I O'd just for fun, and apparently that is when I actually O'd, because my temps went down and then back up, and according to my sono, that is when we conceived.

I got pregnant with DD#1 while on the pill (obviously not trying at all, lol).

I thought when we started TTC when DD#1 was a year old it would happen right away, but it took 4 1/2 years to get pregnant again. So I've had both experiences.

DH and I started TTC in October and I got my BFP in February. And we only twice in Feb when I got our BFP. No charting or OPKs.

With DS I got pregnant 1 month after we got married because we decided to see what happens, after that I got pregnant 3 times when trying for #2 (the first 2 times after DS ended in losses, but I got PG very easily) and now I'm pregnant with #3 and we weren't trying.

DC1 - TTC 6 months
DC2 - TTC 3 months
DC3 - SURPRISE!!!

So, I think if you just relax and try not to stress about it, it will happen. What I would do if I were you, is try to stay off the TTC board. Use an OPK kit just to get an idea of when you O and take it from there. Skip the temping until you NEED to.

DS honeymoon baby, we decided as soon as we were married to just wing it and voila!

DD started tryin when DS was 2, took 3 years to get pg w fertility assistance
