Anyone ever use Murad Acne Complex

I am thinking of trying it, but wanted to see if anyone had reviews on it.
I see it got mixed reviews on line.
Some people said it was great and worked better than anything else- proactiv, prescriptions from the dermo, etc.
Then there are other people who say it irritated their skin and it stunk

I was thinking of trying it...because my skin has been breaking out quite a bit lately, and I feel it's hormonal.
The 2 weeks before my period my skin just freaks out and is a mess for 2 weeks.

Reading up about the Murad, it seems to be one of the few over the counter products that is different than just benzoyl peroxide or salicyclic acid- it has some retinol, etc in it.

Just looking for any reviews on it.

Funny you ask because I stopped using it and then just started again because they sent me a shipment. My skin wasn't bad on Monday and now after using it for 2 nights I am getting a cystic pimple on my jawline and another one on my chin. I mean, it's good that it gets out whatever is under the skin but I prefer Proactive because it deeply treats whats under the skin without it coming to surface. Also, the actual clearing gel is super sticky and makes your face feel like there is glue on it.

I am going to Sephora this weekend to pick up some Perricone and Peter Thomas Roth products. Pricey but worth it.

I was getting lots of breakouts on my chest that never really go away. Based on my internet research decided to try their products and have found they've really had no impact whatsoever (which totally sucks based on the cost).
