Anyone ever make prune puree with the Baby Bullet?
If so, how long and on what setting did you steam them? With my older son, I just used a steamer basket for everything or boiled or baked things and then pureed them. My husband got me the Baby Bullet to use with our second baby. I've just started using it and so far I love it! I wanted to make prunes, but it's not in the little booklet that comes with it so I didn't know if it was possible to do it.

LOL, I love the bullet, but prunes are one thing I actually bought pureed. You could just steam as normal and then still puree in bullet.

I didn't steam them--just sat them in a bowl of water until they puffed up a bit (overnight was easiest), then puréed. They're very thick and sticky though, so you may have to add a bit of water to then them out.

i never bothered with pureed prunes, plums were easier and did the same job. this time of year especially. DD always loved plum puree!!

I never did with my first son either. But my 7 month old only started solids a couple weeks ago and has been SUPER constipated for a few days. I tried plums, but it didn't help, so I wanted to go for prunes. They are more effective since they have a higher fiber content than plums.
ETA: But he did LOVE the plums!
