Just saw an infomercial for the Baby Bullet. Looks pretty good.

I was going to get the Baby Bullet but my ped. highly recommended the Beaba so I got that. Im not sure but I think the Baby Bullet just purees and not steam.

I had the Beaba because it cooks the food also. I am pretty sure the baby bullet only purees. If that is the case then a mini food processor would work just as well. Also as far as the storage containers unless you are going to cook food constantly there won't be enough. I always made BIG batches and froze them in ice cube trays. I started out with those cute little storage things but, I would have needed to buy a TON of themChat Icon

I have it and it was a complete and total splurge because honestly a blender could do exactly the same thing.

I love that there are two size blending bowls, one for small amounts and one for huge batches. I love how simple it is to use.

Then again, I do all my steaming separately (obviously -- you have to). I have an old fashioned metal steamer rack I stick in a pot and I put everything on the stove from 6 to 25 minutes (pears to potatoes lol), then I blend things up. The other day I boiled prunes (to rehydrate), and steamed apples, and also pureed fresh mango and it came out delicious.

I have the green sprouts freezer cube trays (they're bendy which makes them super easy to take the cubes out) that you can freeze 15 one-ounce cubes in and you can definitely make enough to fill that and have a few days of fresh food in the fridge too with the larger baby bullet blending bowl. It's really the size of a blender.

You can always steam fresh veggies in steamer ziploc bags. You don't need to steam them on the stove.

For the price (I think it was $48 with a 20% off coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond), it was worth it to me. It came with some good accessories (I actually really love the little glass jars for putting portions in the fridge then I just freeze the rest). It's definitely not an all-in-one, though.

My daughter had the Magic Bullet so she's been using that. It works great! She puts the food in Green Sprouts freezer containers (they're little square containers for either 1 or 2 oz) They stack on a tray in the freezer.
