Anyone ever have a mole removed?
Does it hurt? Does it leave a scar?
I have one on the side of my face that I've been thinking of getting removed - but I certainly wouldn't want a scar!

I had one removed from my neck and it didn't hurt too bad because it was numbed first & it only left a small pink mark. Nothing major.

I did... I had it shaved off. There's kind of a scar, but you can't really tell that it's a scar unless you really look... It's on my boob though It didn't really hurt much... Just stung for a day or two.

I have on my back and on my arm...one I needed stiches because he had to dig it out...the other was just scraped off. I didn't feel anything and now they are very light marks.

DH had one on his back removed and it did leave kind of a scar. The area is always lighter than the rest of his skin. I wonder if they could do it differently though since its on your face?

Immediately after surgery, you should avoid swimming, dishwashing, and other activities that might dampen the treated area. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to avoid any possible complications or delayed healing.

I don't recall having to stay out of the sun... But it was covered by a bandaid for a few days, do i don't think i had to worry...

I had one removed from my thigh. The procedure didn't hurt at all, because it was numbed, but I got a BAD infection afterwards to the point where I could barely move my entire leg. The scar that's there now is pretty nasty. I know that doesn't normally happen though.

I'm thinking since you need to avoid things that will dampen your face, it's best to sit with your feet up. Don't want you working up a sweat!

i had one removed from my nose. i went to dermatoly surgeon. the scar is not recognizable at all, unless you are really in my face.

i had 2 on my back- i felt a teeny pinch when they numbed it- but other than that- nothing- and its soooo worth it! i wore a bandaid for a day

My DH had one removed on his face and does have a very deep scar. I wonder if maybe they messed up something because it looks like he was cut by a knife. Or maybe he hasn't told me about his history in the Crypts.
