Anyone else's DC HATE eggs? Any recipes for kids who hate eggs?

OMG, my DD hates eggs, all ways.

Anyone else DC hate eggs?

I think it's the consistency b/c she squeezes them and makes a sound "uhhh, uhhh". And then shakes them off her fingers.

Anyone have any tips on how to get her to like eggs?

My DD hates them too. I have tried scrambled, fried, hard boiled...even egg salad. She wont touch them.

Her pedi wasnt concerned though because she is getting protein from other foods. He said to try again in a few weeks to see if she takes a liking to them.

I mix it with avacado for her and she loooves it!

DS would never eat an egg alone. I made potato and egg one day and he loved it. Now he eats omelets and such, but still not a plain egg. Let me know if you want some healthy, yummy recipes

Yup, my daughter is an egg hater too. But she does like french toast. I make a quickie version with toasted wheat bread with some cinnamon. And sometimes she'll eat a quiche if it has other things she likes in it, like broccoli (her favorite).

But yeah, it definitely makes breakfast a little harder.

yep, DD won't eat them.

I think it's the texture.

we keep offering and hoping one day she will at least try them.

Ava HATES eggs. I have tried cooking them all different ways with american cheese with veggies(she pickes out the veggies) I have tried quiches and no luck.

My DD hates eggs too. She flings them off her tray and the dogs eat them. Then she thinks it's funny so she feeds them the rest

I was thinking of making them with some cheese but I'm afraid the consistency will be so similar that she won't give them a chance.

She REFUSES to let me feed her anything that she can pick up herself. She screams like I'm torturing her. Little miss independence

With cheese or veggies works. Quiche maybe?

My kids like eggs because they cook with DH. I think that helps too. As toddlers, their job was to put the shells in the garbage.

DS liked them once upon a time, but probably around 18 months, he started rejecting them. For awhile he ate egg salad, but he won't touch that anymore either.

Definitely try frittatas or quiche, though he won't eat them, DD might like them.

Sorry, no yummy recipes to share. At this point, I've pretty much given up on them, though I'll give him bits of ours when we eat them to try.

DD is 3.5 and hates eggs. the only way she will eat them is french toast.
