Anyone else skeeved by Olive Garden
commercials? Every time I see it, it grosses me out. The food just looks gross to me. Am I the only one?

I've only had salad and breadsticks there once, but don't think I would even order pasta there. I am a psycho about my pasta. Must be aldente, very picky about sauce, etc.

Oh everytime I feel sick just looking at it The heavy sauces/meats look so gross.
Except the breadsticks those look good

I really don't even pay attention to the commercials.. and I'm going to admit.. I actually like it there. It's cheap and filling - so it's a good place to take the boys for a quick, inexpensive meal.
The food isn't FABULOUS - but it's no worse than any other chain

DH and I went over the weekend. We both agree that its not great but its not terrible. I usually get soup and salad.

I don't mind it, I go very rarely (haven't been in a few years). I do think their food is salty. I like the salad & breadsticks.

Maybe I am a snob regarding Italian food bc I grew up in an Italian family but ick
To me it is not even about being Italian, we live in NY where they have some of the best Italian restaurants, why eat at a chain?
I have never and doubt I will ever go.

OMG I thought I was the only one that gets a bit queezy when the commercials come on.
All their dishes look EXACTLY the same and always have some sort of cream sauce in it...YUCK.
PLus, I HATE that they state their "chefs" trained with the some of the best chefs in Italy - THAT stuff they serve doesn't come close to what is served in Italy...I find it insulting when they say that

The last time we went the prices went up and I didn't feel the food was worth what they were charging.
DO love the breadsticks and salad though.

The food there is disgusting. Everything is pre made, salty and frozen. I ate there for the 1st time ever last yr.. well lets say i really didnt eat, it was like slop. But people down here in FL love it and consider that 'real italian food'.

We haven't been in a while- I do love the salad and breadsticks. I have to say, it has been hard to find a good sit-down Italian place in Putnam County/W. Ct. We FINALLY found one after 5 years of living here.

totally agree!!!! i say the samething all the time... we ate there twice and hate it every time. never goign back. my mom says it tastes liek everything comes out of a microwave

totally skeeved. not real italian jmo everything has creamy cheesy sauces or stuffed with cheeses. i dont have anything against cheese but still. everything looks like it is drowning in the sauces.
