Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I also hate being pregnant. I am only eight weeks and have been sick and find it so hard working and taking care of a toddler. I know you get the prize at the end and it's all worth it but I will not be having anymore after this.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I don't hate it............I consider it such a blessing.
I've had a REALLY easy pregnancy, but have had a really hard time with the physical and emotional changes that come with carrying a baby. So I strongly dislike that aspect of it, but all in all it's been good.
I give all the credit in the world to women who have 3 or more kids, I could not imagine going through pregnancy more than twice. After #2 the tubes are getting tied

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I hated up until a few weeks ago. I was so exhausted and so sick, I would just sit on the couch and cry at night.
But now I remember what I love so much about it! The nausea is gone, I have a great baby bump and other than being tired, I feel really good!

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I am with you 100%.
I didnt like being pregnant with DS and it was much easier than this one!
This one I still am sick and I am 26 weeks. Eating makes me feel sick, not eating makes me sick! I feel huge, etc
I really dont enjoy anything about being pregnant, its just a means to an end to me...I love being a mom and I love having my DC in my arms!
I already have told everyone I am done, there is no way I want to go through pregnancy again!

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I have a love/hate relationship with pregnancy.
With DS#1 I had a sinus infection for 6 weeks followed by a bowel blockage for 6 weeks which ended when I had an unmedicated colonoscopy to make sure it was nothing more. I saw my small instestines on TV! The boy gave me 3 weeks of normalcy before I developed the worst case of PUPPPS in history then gestational diabetes quickly after that. The icing on the cake was the emergency c-section when I had zero amniotic fluid, a calcified placenta and a cord around his neck.
It took me a looooong time to ever want to experience that again.
I had a miscarriage this summer and thought to myself, I cannot do this. I also found out I have pre-diabetes bordering on type 2.
We did try again and I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. So far I have been OK, besides the raging gestational diabetes. I am on metformin & insulin therapy since 5 weeks. I am on a strict diet, which I guess is good for me.
But when all is said and done, the feeling of growing a human inside you is amazing and I am glad to endure whatever I have to endure to have my children.
I think I am done after this though, I want to take care of me and my issues after this.
