Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I know there is light at the end of the tunnel but I absolutely hate being pregnant.
I met one of my pregnant friends recently and she was glowing. No nausea for her. I've felt sick the ENTIRE time. I so wish I could be one of those happpy glowing pregnant women.

I don't know if I hate it. I'm lucky I didn't get sick at all, but def different this time around then my first.
First time I loved it. Didn't gain much weight, relaxed when I could, exercised, ate well, etc.
This time I'm pregnant with a toddler. A lot harder and exhausting. Plus, I'm getting bigger faster.
The bigger boobs is def a plus though

Same here. My MS is 10x worse with this one than with DD, my pregnancy with DD was a breeze. I am 8 weeks and already showing and very close to needing maternity close. Once the belly evens out and the nausea goes away im sure it will be fine. I love being pregnant with DD.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
On and off. Sometimes I really do hate it and wish I just had the baby in my arms. But other times, like when she kicks, I love it.
I hate it because I don't feel sexy really anymore and I miss my old body. That and combined with being uncomfortable, heart burn etc makes me can't wait until it's over!

I hate the constant worry about everything being OK, what I can/can't eat, etc. Being tired all the time is tough too. However, I wouldn't say I hate being pregnant. I'm excited and very happy overall

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I wouldn't say hate...but I don't enjoy it and I will not miss it. I miss having energy, the ability to sleep for longer than 4 hours at a time and I could really do without the heartburn after everything I eat or drink. I understand that these are sacrifices I have to make to have this baby and I'm okay with it, but at the same time I will be delighted to be done with pregnancy.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I do. Hate it. People look at me funny when I say that, but I do.
I love my son and I love the baby growing inside me. But my body just doesn't handle it well. I do it because it is well worth the end result, but I told my husband in no uncertain terms this weekend, that this is my last baby.
I'm happy for those that enjoy it, and I wish I did enjoy it more. Other than feeling the baby move inside me, I am over being pregnant.

Thank you! I am so over pregnancy. I love my son more than anything and I know I will love my second son just as much. However, I find pregnancy to be absolutely miserable.
We were on the fence about going for a third. I am so done!!!! No more pregnancies for me.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I've been loving it. Pregnancy has been such a miraculous experience for me that I've really been trying to take the time to enjoy. But I've been lucky enough not to have any problems. My biggest "issue" is exhaustion, but that's not really worth complaining about. I'm sorry you've been having such a rough time. I think I would hate it too if I had to deal a lot of discomfort.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I cant say 'hate" but most days I really dislike it. Im very uncomfortable and bc I cant work out or I really dont feel like myself right now. I also cant stand being told how I should feel or what I should be doing or eating by everyone who is not pregnant right now. I sometimes feel guilty for disliking this process so much bc I know how lucky I am but I honestly cant wait to just have my .

I hate it!! do not get me wrong it is an amazing thing!! but I just do not like not being in control of my body! The beginning was so bad this time now I feel pretty good at 13 days to go!! Carrying a child is a hard thing be proud of yourself!! Remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel! With my first I did not see it this time I do!!

I totally agree with not being in control of my body! I HATE it!! I was very active before pregnancy, etc. and now it's a chore just to go up the stairs. I hate not having any control over anything!!!

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I dislike it a lot. I only got PG to have my DC in my arms at the end. I hate attention so I wear a scarf at work to cover my belly so people I don't know don't ask me about it. I am dreadingreally "popping" when it becomes obvious because it really slows me down.
I was so happy I wasn't PG anymore after DC was born, I had postpartum elation. I felt on top of the world! It took 4 years for DC#2 I disliked being PG so much!
But it's sooo worth it for that little one!

I hate it right now! I'm dreading telling my mom, b/c pregnancy takes a huge toll on my body and she told me after #2 that she didn't think I should have any more kids since it is so hard on my body.
I hate it so much right now, that I think I am going to tell OB to tie my tubes.

I won't say I HATE it, but I'm certainly not good at it. My face, hair, nails are all a wreck, i'm throwing up 10+ times a day, I'm so tired I cry on the weekends I'm chasing my toddler around, etc... I pray it gets better as the weeks progress.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
The first trimester was great. I didn't have any of the common issues I see posted about here.
Now in the second trimester, I've had some days where I just feel straight crappy. I'm hoping it just passes.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
my first trimester was awful, but it could have been worse I guess. I never expected to feel sick all the time, and i told DH that it's a good thing we both decided we'd be okay with one kid b/c I really don't think I could do it again.
now i'm in the second tri and feeling a little better, but i swear my *** is growing, instead of my stomach. so i hate THAT.
i won't say I hate being pregnant because I know I'm lucky to be pregnant, but there are times when i intensely dislike it. I am also flabbergasted that no one really prepares you for how absolutely disgusting you can feel. Moms must get some form of amnesia as soon as they look at their baby's face for the first time.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
Hate it....I guess at times. the beginning SU*KED! Never again do I want to feel that way, the nausea and exhaustion were almost too much to handle (but I was never sick with my 1st) then at about 14 weeks I started to feel great....until about 26 weeks. Now at 30 weeks I am pretty uncomfortable about 75% of the time and am ready for it to be over. I hate alot of things about it, but don't hate it, per se.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
the first trimester wasnt the most fun ive ever had, but it took me a year and a half to get and stay pregnant so i doubt theres ANY level of bad that would make me hate the fact that i have a little growing inside of me!!

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
It's not that I hate being pregnant, it's that I hate not having control over my body if that makes sense. I used to be at the gym four times a week, go a couple of hours without eating....now I get winded walking up the stairs, I get nauseous when I don't eat, I throw up every morning. It's frustrating for someone like me who is constantly on the go and likes to keep busy to have to sit and rest.

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
I don't like it at all. M/s for the first trimester, then horrible headaches, two sinus infections and a broken wrist later, I am over it. The hardest part for me by far has been the inability to control the changes in my body and feeling huge all the time, but I miss being more active (I am still working out, but half as much at half the intensity)!

Re: Anyone else hate being pregnant?
HATED it is an understatement. And I was NEVER sick. Up until the last 2 weeks, nothing even bothered me except my back. But emotionally, I dont know what happened. I fell into a DEEP depression and cried for 9 months. Literally. And we tried for over a year to get pregnant so it wasnt a surprise. My mind just reacted to it in a crazy way. And honestly, I am afraid to have another for this reason. The SECOND she was born, I was FINE!! No pp AT ALL...weird.

I think I had a pretty difficult pregnancy so all my friends know how miserable I was. They both witnessed (watched me run to puke) and heard me talk about how sick I felt. I guess I'm just a complainer.
