Anyone buy tickets off Craigslist???
I never have - but I am tempted! It is 2 $100 tickets for a total of $200 - I would hate to get screwed..but I have been going back and forth with her on our personal emails and it seems legit and cheaper for those seats on ticketmaster...

Ive SOLD tix off of craigslist... The guy kept in touch wityh Dh and spoke with him a few times and then met us with us in a waldbaum's parking lot... Our tix were legit lol so it def could be a great deal for you- as it was for the guy we sold tix to!

usually if i buy tickets off craigslist - i pick up in person - and want real tickets - no e-tickets - e ticekts can be photocoppied and onlty the first ones will work
i have sold real tickets without a problem
if you pay with paypal you still have insurance coverage if it is fruadalent

She is based out of LA - she claims she accidentally bought tickets in the NY venue and meant the LA venue! So she said she would express mail them to me. So I can't meet her in person! =(
Still the best seats I can find on any website in my price range...I'll see if she gets back to me to make my decision!

ooh, that's a tough one. You're putting a lot of trust that she's not lying about the whole thing. There's a very real chance that you could pay this person and then never get your tickets.
If there was a way to pay her, but have the funds withheld until the tickets were in hand, i'd look into that (not sure if there is)
Otherwise be prepared if it turns out to be a scam. It's a shame we have to think this way, but its true more often than not!

Can she take a pic of the ticket showing all the details and email it to you? not sure how else you would know...I know it might be weird to ask but I'm sure she would understand.

I wouldn't do it.
I had a friend who got scammed with a "I bought tickets for the wrong city" deal on Craigslist.
Tickets looked fine...until they didn't scan at the door to the venue.
Stubhub is the way to go - they stand behind the product.

Now that you added more info about her being in LA, I most def would not take the chance... We meet in person or theres no deal... too many things can go wrong otherwise

Only local or paypal(even paypal will take a while to get your $$ back.) I wouldn't buy them from LA. I think its a scam. Why couldn't she handle that with the ticket seller?
