Another SB hospital question - private rooms?
Is SB maternity ward all private rooms? I was under the impression that it was, but a co-worker who is delivering there just told me she thought you had to pay $200 for a private room?

I'm pretty sure its all private rooms. It was when I was there in Oct '09- going back in August.
That is probably her copay for the hospital.

I was there in April 2010. I had my own room, and didn't have to pay for it. The rooms aren't set up to be shared, at least not the one that I was in.

I was there in January. They are all private rooms. The bathrooms are private as well and gorgeous!

Ive heard the bathrooms are all done in marble? Is that true?

i remember stone, but not marble.
i also remember the HUGE wall mirror in the bathroom... exactlyyyy what i wanted to see 2 hrs postpartum when i got out of the shower.

WOOHOO! This is SO going to be better than St Catherines last time around!!!!!!
Can DH spend the night since the rooms are private? I dont think mine would so he could go home to our other son, but just curious.

yes he can... DH said that the foldout chair was actually very comfortable. He's not planning on staying this time either, he wants to be home w/ DS.
