Another issue with the wisdom tooth hole **funny yet embarrassing update**
I just looked at the hole in my mouth where my wisdom tooth used to be....the dry socket situation is better thankfully, but now there is some huge black bulging thing in the hole?!?!?!?!? WHAT IS IT??????
I have no idea if it's food or something stuck in there, or if it's a huge a$$ blood clot (which is weird to me b/c it hasn't bled in three weeks) It sorta feels like it's part of my gum and I can't seem to get it out, but it wasn't there yesterday and I am FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
help me.

Oh my goodness. My first guess would be a blood clot. In case it is, do NOT try to dislodge it! I think the clot forms over the hole to heal it. Or maybe it is just swollen gums. If you are that freaked out, call the doctor and find out what it is and what to do. I wouldn't do anything to it before speaking to the doctor.

Sounds like a blood clot in the socket. Call the dentist- it couldn't hurt to have it checked out..

Don't feel bad - I went to the dentist once because I thought I had a wisdom tooth coming in and it turned out to be a piece of skin from popcorn I ate a few days earlier!
