Those of you that have made the trip from Long Island, is there any good place along the way to stop to break up the trip abit (other then rest areas)?

In jersey there a few rest stops only. We did it straight, just about 4 hours. He watched Bubble Guppies on the ipad and then slept the rest of the way.

We did a stop at Cracker Barrel in Fogelsville, PA & I think the Crayola Factory was close. (DH said most people wouldn't go this way though).
We also did the Hands On House museum which was about 30 minutes from DW. Fun place.

Thanks Jenn. I have a portable dvd player, but she would have to hold it, it doesn't get attached to the seat. I guess I might have to look into one of those. As for her napping if she falls asleep in the car for 45minutes we'll be lucky that's why I need to stop at some point and let her run around.

Thanks. I'll have to look into that. That sounds like the way to sesame place.

We rigged the ipad the the back of the seat after the 20th time he dropped it. Good luck, and have fun.

I would plan it around nap time, but DD doesn't nap anymore . If she naps for 45 minutes in the car I'll be lucky. I also live out east so its going to take us at least 4 hours without traffic. I'll just have to stop at a rest area to let her get some energy out and continue on.
Thanks

I found a dvd player harness online, I'm hoping I can find one in the store either that or I'll have to rig it up also. I can't wait to go and see her reaction to everthing.
