Questions about Dutch Wonderland
I looked on the website and saw that there are plenty of rides for kids under 36. If we go, DD might be tall enough but will she have to ride alone? Or are most of those rides I can go on with her? Plus, DS will be tall enough but he might freak out over having to go on rides by himself.
Any advice, words of experience?
ETA: New question!
We would definitely bring a double stroller so that DS doesn't have to walk the whole day... if you went on a ride with the kids, did you feel comfortable leaving the stroller outside the ride? I am thinking that a lot of people do this, right?

Re: Question about Dutch Wonderland
We are going this year again as well.
We went last year DD was 12 months old and she could go on a few rides- carosel, boats, train, gondala ride ...things like that...things we were able to take her on.
By 15 months she prob would have gone on even more.
But the fast that you have an older DC the younger one could prob ride with the older one and that even allows more rides then.
We are going as my DD turns 2 this year and I anticipate she could go a many of them (much more than last year) and alone this time.
It is such a cute place! One of my favorite!
ENJOY!

Duh, I didn't even think of that I bet once he warmed up, he would be more willing to go on things if he was with DD, that is awesome.

Re: Questions about Dutch Wonderland
We went when DD was exactly 2 & DS was 3 months. Even he was able to ride on some rides (w/ us). DD rode on a number of rides by herself & even more w/ DH & I.
We obviously had the stroller & they have "stroller parking" outside e/ ride...no problems, at all w/ leaving it.
You are also allowed to leave park for lunch (there is a NUMBER of food places right outside the park) or even if you want to leave for a nap (most motels are across the street) & then come back.
We did the 2 hour preview the night b4 (went on a couple of rides & got familiar w/ layout of park) & then got there right after breakfast following day & then left for lunch & came back & did water park in pm.
It's wonderful!

That sounds like a great idea - is that always an option if you buy tickets in advance, like the day before, or does it cost extra?

Re: Questions about Dutch Wonderland
we LOVE DW....it's IMO the best "park" for the age your kids will be at the time.
We did 2 days there and then sesame afterwards, and although sesame was cute I wish we just did DW more.
It's so clean and so great for the little ones. There is a fun train ride around the park that the boys had a blast on. We rode it 3 or 4 times. They went on most of the rides, there wasn't many they couldn't go on.
I think Luca will be fine going on the rides, and he can take Izzie on the ones that they can sit next to one another on. We will be going again in Sept.

Re: Questions about Dutch Wonderland
DS was 16m old last year when we went. There was no way he was old enough to ride alone. I think he would have been allowed to but I would not have felt comfortable. DS only rode rides with us last year. He had a blast.
You guys are going to have so much fun!
