Another CAC question
I live in a colonial and I notice such a difference in the temp from upstairs to downstairs. Right now the therm is set to 72 and the downstairs is nice and cool but upstairs is still warm....at night we have to put it down to 65 for the upstairs to cool off. I'm wondering if I should just use a window ac in the bedroom at night....I'd probably save some money that way right?

Re: Another CAC question
I replied in another post earlier today. We installed an attic fan and that made a HUGE difference in our upstairs temperature. It clicks on automatically when it hit 80 degrees in the attic to vent the hot air out. Fairly inexpensive fix.

Re: Another CAC question
Same problem here and I bought an A/C unit last night for my bedroom. The a/c will run all day and never get cooler than 75 up there. It's ridiculous really. I rent so an attic fan isn't an option for me since it's not something I'm willing to install and accept responsibility for if it breaks.

Re: Another CAC question
We also have a colonial and I have noticed that the upstairs is also much warmer but we have a ceiling fan in our bedroom and we turn that on at night so that we don't have to lower the temp of the CAC.
