roasted fresh red peaches with ice cream on the patio of a small restaurant someplace on the Romatic Road in Germany. we had to drive on to a raft to get there. it was 100000% worth it.

Fresh.. pineapple from an unmanned roadside stand on Maui. We drove up, put $ in the lockbox and took some pineapple. It was soooo sweet and juicy that it literally spilled down my shirt on the first bite. AMAZING.
Cooked.. creme brulee made by my friend (who is a chef). Crisp sugar coating, smooth custard and just a HINT of maple. I could have died happy right then.

I was just thinking the exact same thing! Fresh, sweet, juicy pineapple from Maui!!!! OMG it was the best piece of fruit I ever tasted! My IL's are going next month and I was thinking about telling them to send a case back!

Banana creme brulee at Cafe Marquesa in Key West...amazing!!! More locally, the chocolate lava cake at the Argyle Grill & Tavern in Babylon Village, it is probably the best I ever had! And, chocolate souffle prepared by my BIL.

I just had a Black & White cupcake at Crumbs today and it was pretty darn delicious! I usually don't think their cupcakes are that great.

Tiramisu at Corte Sconta in Venice...and I don't normally like Tiramisu. This was done totally different. Handmade chocolate baskets with a foam type Tiramisu inside...mmmmm

I found a recipe online that was supposidly from their newsletter, but either I screwed it up or it wasn't accurate.

Hmm. Recently, the Nutella creme brulee at Z's Oyster Bar, Louisville, Kentucky. I don't even like creme brulee but this was amazing. And, the cinnamon zeppoles from Novita in Garden City are fantastic.

Don't know if it's because my taste buds go into overdrive when I'm on vacation, but I find that some of the best tasting foods I've ever had are always in Europe.
I recall having a delicious seafood soup in Portugal in what appeared to be someone's kitchen that they turned into a storefront.

Oh, hands down a dessert that I had at the buffet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, it was a shot glass with burnt sugar caramel in the bottom, then filled with creme anglais and topped with a beautiful square homemade marshmallow. What I wouldn't give to have another one of those.
This would tie with fresh sushi that I had at a a Kaiten Sushi bar in Tokyo. OMG.
