your DVR cut out because the show went past 9pm even though it was supposed to be over by then. I was shocked to see how far past 9 they went! They do that now and then...for elimination shows I'd set your DVR a few minutes past the scheduled program just to be sure.
You know, I was about to reply and say "they really need to get with the times and update the length of the show with the guides because tons of people record it"
but then I realized, I only record it because I hate watching it live with all of the filler, product placement, and commercials.
Bingo! I wonder if they do that on purpose to get more people to watch it live and become victims to their marketing....

Re: American Idol 2/13
I love the Irish girl, 16 year old, the rock guy (who reminds me of Marky Mark) and the australian.
I despise the rock girl, she just sounds like shes screaming.
And I am glad to see the cry baby who lives in his car didn't make it on, but sad to see the curly hair guy w/ glasses go home :(
Can ya tell I'm terrible with names?

I was so excited about my relevation that I had to post it Thanks for humoring me.
Is anyone else in a tizzy about the fact that some of these contestants have already had recording contracts? Something that used to be a no-no on AI? (Michael Johns and the Irish girl are two examples)

Re: American Idol 2/13
I loved Josiah, I thought he was so unique and talented. And once again this is why i don't watch the show past the auditions. They always cut someone with a really unique and new sound, and put a bunch of theater singers on. It's so cheesy and unoriginal. There are some good singers on, but I truely doubt I would buy one of their CD's (except for maybe Michael John's). Josiah's I will buy when he gets his record, which I'm sure he will.
