I was a little behind.
Phil- sounded good. I like his voice and I felt like this week he finally performed the song with some personality.
Jordin- I thought she sounded great. A little shakey when she first went into the chorus, but I can forgive that it happens to the best sometimes. I also thought she gave a very mature performance.
Lakisha- I thought she really connected to the lyric of the song. She did push through the chorus a little hard at first, but other then that I thought she sounded good.
Sanjaya- There are no words. I have heard soooooo many people sing that song and that was honeatly one of the worst renditions I have ever heard. I also think that this "fame" is going to his head. Time to go!!!!!
Chris- He was okay. A few clunky notes and he seemed lost in his performance.
Melinda- I thought for once she looked like she had a neck!!! She sounded great .
Blake- I thought he was kinda bad this week. I think that he was born in the wrong decade. He always reminds me of those 80's British bands.

I actually thought they all did pretty good tonight, except Sanjaya. I mean, really he was auful. Or as Simon put it...Utterly horrendous.  He must go.
I LOVE Jordin and Blake. They are my favs.

I watched most of it tonight. (I stopped wathcing after they booted off Sundance ) But, I have to say Sanjaya is a joke. He just su<ks big time! Jordin was FANTASTIC! And I liked Phil as well. I thought he did a great job.
I didn't see Doolittle but, I just assumed she was great as always.

Phil...Always been one of my faves. Just something about him I love. I think he did GREAT tonight but I have a feeling it may be him leaving tomorrow. I got through each and every time I called.
Jordin..MY FAVE! I really hope she wins actually. She is wonderful. Such a strong voice and as Randy said..so young! She has a lot ahead of her. Shes awesome!
Lakeisha..I didnt like her tonight at all. I love that song and she didnt do it justice.
Sanjaya..nothing left to say. Just horrible. I am happy thought that Simon addressed this stupidity.
Chris..He is HOT..and SWEET..but I just dont think he was good tonight at all.
Melinda..great and I like what Simon did with her too..making her act like shes not so surprised shes such a good singer.
Blake..I hated him tonight. I thought he was plain out BAD. I usually like him but tonight, not at all.
Sidenote..Did anyone see SImons look when Chris was talking about the shooting...it was VERY rude. I think thats why he said something about it. I think they told him to.

I am a huge country music fan and I have to say I was actually impressed with most of the performances tonight.
Phil did great. And I don't usually like him. I knew Phil would do well. He has a country voice and he showed it tonight.
Jordin was fantastic. I love Martina McBride and let me say Jordin nailed that song. Her vocals were great, her expressions were great. She truly performed well tonight.
Sanjaya-awful-no surprise there.
Lakisha-horrible song choice and she did not do Carrie proud.
Chris did not have a great performance. He made a mess of that song.
Melinda was great as always
Blake did well but you could tell he was not comfortable up there.
Bottom three should be Sanjaya, Lakisha and Chris. It will probably be Lakisha, Chris and Phil. Chris will go home.

Isn't Chris from Virgina? I think if he said nothing it would have been seen in a bad way, KWIM.

After last night I have a new favorite - Jordin. I hope she wins the whole thing. She has a good shot.
Phil was better than he's ever been. Country is his niche.
Melinda looked young AND had a neck last night. AMAZING! I thought she was great, as usual.
No one else left enough of an impression for me to comment this morning, except Sanjaya, who made my ears bleed. I think Bonnie Rait is on suicide watch too.
I think this may be his week to go!! I don't want to get my hopes up, but I think his run is up. I heard on the news this morning that critics are saying he's still there on his own merit rather than VFTW, which IMO takes all the fun out of voting for him bc he sucks, kwim? Maybe I'm stretching, but a girl can dream.

ITA with most of this. I however did not care for LaKeisha at all. Her lisp (although I am not making fun) is becoming a hindering factor in being able to listen to her....maybe it was just the song but it was very noticeable this week.
I loved Jordin & Phil...but Phil should have worn a hat.
Sanjaya is just ridiculous, and really Seacrest, STFU while Simon is critiquing....that was ssssooooooo annyoing

I totally saw that, I think Chris was so nervous he forgot the segway, "while I'm up here I want to....", and I think Simon was rolling his eyes at him, and it didnt have to do with Va tech, but he certainly got busted on camera. There is no doubt in my mind the producers made him say that.
But do you really think that people who were involved in Va tech were sitting home watching AI?

It was totally irritating when he basically tried to silence Simon when he was critiquing Sanjaya.....and really Simon was not saying anything over-the-top or untrue...I think Seacrest has the hots for San-jina
