Do you think sweatsuits on other people look sloppy? Like a juicy sweatsuit... does that look sloppy to you guys?

Just curious...

I always just assume they are ragging and did not want to put fitted clothes on that morning. That's the only time I have ever been tempted to wear one of mine.

I think my a$$ looks nice in them, that's why I buy them, but I can never follow through with wearing them...unless I am on a roadtrip or something.

I would never think that a sweatsuit is not as sloppy just because it is a namebrand.Chat Icon

I have some velour VS sweatsuits that I wear out and I don't think they are sloppy. I think that regular sweatpants in public look sloppy though and would never wear them outside my own LR.

As for your OP, I would wear that around the house, to the beach or to work out in, but not in public to run errands and such.

Re: Am I to old for this?

Honestly, I don't think the $$ you spend on sweatsuits makes them look any less or more sloppy.

It's just a look. It's loungewear - for lounging around. Wearing it out, is sloppy to me.

I disagree... if someone is walking around in paint splattered dirty sweatpants, that to me is sloppy..

If somenoe is walking around in a nice clean, "crisp" good quality sweatsuit.. that's not sloppy to me.

Sloppy to me is dirty, ill fitting clothes and/or apperance.

And that is your opinion...we obviously disagree Chat Icon

FTR, I don't walk around judging people who wear sweatsuits...*I* don't like them, *I* find them sloppy, therefore *I* don't wear them.

I cant agree more....and what I really think looks sloppy is seeing someone out at a resturant wearing sweats. Its ok to be "loungy" in your own home but make an effort to dress a little bit to go out to eat. Especially a fat guy in grey sweats!! Chat Icon

I suggest you don't go to pizziola in Oceanside on a saturday afternoon, you're bound to see me and lbg30 all decked out in our "nicest" sweats..lol At times I feel like that fat guy in grey sweats..lol Actually, i don't wear grey sweats.. I'm not a big fan of grey, that's the only reason...

I have seen people dressed in a nice sweatsuit look more put together than someone who is wearing jeans/cargo's~

this is my problem with them. they aren't sloppy...just played out. thankfully not where I live, but in every mall from here to Montauk...everyone AND their mother (fa real Chat Icon ) is wearing some sort of velour/Juicy/Pink/terrycloth version of the sweatsuit. Chat Icon

I have true religion sweat suits, I have NEVER seen them on anyone, I have twisted heart sweatsuits the same NEVER one person and now China Wall Ink.. NO one has it..

I think with the prices I am paying to wear sweats, they have to look good.
I am also very think and normally ripped so nothing I wear is ever sloppy!
and I have over 75 pairs of kicks so everything matches!Chat Icon

this isn't really about just you though. I am sure your sweatsuits are cool and rare.

BUT for me, who wouldn't be dropping that much ching on anything made of cotton/terry, I'd be wearing what everyone else is.

and eso no me gusta. so i don't.

but where I live no one looks alike...hell there are some pretty funky dressers around me, so everyone stands out on their own. there is no cookie cutter uniform. and that is what I feel MOST sweat suits are.

just like someone may not like or dig something I wear...that is just not my thing.
