Am I the only one with a ridiculous LIPA bill
EVERY SINGLE MONTH???? We pay on average $450 a month, this past month was $530!!!! I knew it would be a little higher than average because we have a double sump pump that runs constantly, especially with all the water this season, but I don't know what else I am doing wrong. All my appliances are new too! Im getting so frustrated.

EEEEK!!! That's high. Are you on a budget? I'm not on a budget and on average pay $200 every other month. We live in c cape and only have 1 child and 2 t.v.'s.

We use budget billing and our bill is $110/month. We have a 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch.

We do the budget and it's $149/month! I would def call LIPA and try to negotiate something out because that seems really high!

I have a 2 bedroom apartment- with a gas stove and we average $80-$100
the second bedroom isn't even used and I turn the lights off- I think it's the computer?

I am on balanced billing. We pay $170.00 a month right now. I live in a 3 bedroom extended ranch.

Yes, I am a SAHM so we are probably home more than some others...
But we also have CAC and run an IG pool ( 2 frig's, a freezer, big screen etc...) So I don't know what the culprit is

OMG. I am home all day- I WAHM and we just got our LIPA bill and it was $78. I would flip out if ours was that high. Even in the summer when the ACs are on its never more than $200ish.
We have gas heat and stove.
ETA: about 1600 sqft split.

It's insane....
You have seen my house ( one side has the 17' ceilings) so I'm not sure if our AC is always on overdrive because of that or what
With my finished basement my house is around 4200 sq feet, but the main section is only 2800 that gets used for the most part...And the pool only runs for 3 months out of the year, so that should not be causing it to be som much higher..I can't figure it out
