I dont think its worth reporting.
I know your mad, and you have every right to be. Your doctor SHOULD have looked. He was wrong.
But what do you report, exactly?
So no, I dont think you should. I would, however, write him a letter. Not that he will care, nor probably read it.
Has the original doctor ever actually called YET with the results???

Nope! Thats the kicker.
I want to stand outside his office and tell everyone to not waste their time, but I don't have the time.
Report I guess would be patient neglect?

I would report it. I'm sure their office had no problem submitting the claim to insurance in a timely fashion. I'd actually call the insurance company and see if you can dispute the charges somehow and make them not get paid.

I would certainly send feedback to healthgrades.
Also I would send a note to the doctor and tell him how dissatisfied you were and how you would not refer.
There is nothing to report except getting the word out among your contacts.
Glad he is better but that really sucks that he was in that much pain untreated.

Contact the Office of the Professions in NY.
They handle all the licenses and see if they can guide you.
Here is the link to the "complaints" section.

Re: Am I overreacting? Doctor related...
If it gives you peace of mind to do so, then do it. I don't know if I'd expect anything to be done, but I don't see that it could hurt. I went through a huge rigormorale with my DH's PCP and Zwanger over an MRI.
And my DH has a herniated disc as well and is having surgery next month, so I completely understand the pain . My DH can't even put on socks and shoes.
Best of luck and I'm glad he's feeling better

I'd report it and also let everyone on Facebook and Twitter (if you have those) know to avoid!
I hope your DH feels better real soon!
